This website is set up to only take CHECKS or MONEY ORDERS from DOMESTIC customers. If you are an INTERNATIONAL customer you won't be able to check out using the shopping cart. HOWEVER, I realize some people want to pay via Paypal/Credit Card, and some customers are international, so there is a way to do this - please go to my Payment section if you want to pay via Paypal/Credit Card or are an International customer.
In this section you will find Head Vases, planters, wall pockets and night lights. All add a lot of fun to your living area! Few anticipated the current popularity of head vases because they were sold at the neighborhood five-and-dime stores and used by florists as inexpensive enhancements for bouquets. They are referred to as "florest ware" back then but today we refer to them as "head vases." US manufactures such as Betty Lou Nichols Ceramics, Ceramic Arts Studio, Florence Ceramics, Joseph Originals, Roseville, Royal Copley, Royal Haeger, Shawnee Pottery, Stanford Pottery and Weller were profile producers in the late 1940s and 1950s. We don't see many head vases produced by US manufacturers after the 1950s, but Japan imports continued strongly into the 1960s because of the favorable dollar/yen exchange rate and the lack of copyright enforcement abroad. Wherever they were produced, the head vases of yesteryear are beautiful pieces, very collectible, and demand high dollar in today's marketplace.
