Vintage Fish

In this section you will find fish, whales, starfish and shells – most which date from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. Fish and whales came in all types, shapes and sizes – some were very realistic and others took on a whimsical look with hats and dresses. They were created from ceramic or chalkware as figurines, lamps, wall plaques, aquarium decorations, and salt & pepper shakers. So actually, you can find a fish for every room in your house! These sea creatures can stand alone as a display, but also make a nice compliment to your vintage mermaids as you can position fish to be looking at mermaids, swimming around a mermaid, and in some cases the mermaid can sit on the fish or whale. Fish and whales were manufactured by Lefton, Norcrest, Bradley, Napco, Enesco, Ceramicraft, Ceramic Arts Studio, and Miller Studio,and small US and Japanese pottery shops. No matter where or when they were created, they all are beautiful!
