Vintage Porcelain Bisque German Children Bookends

This wonderful set of children bookends is so pretty. There are no chips or cracks and the porcelain bisque makes the set look real soft and elegant. The girl is 5" tall and the box is a tad shorter. The set itself is not that heavy - what people did was put sand inside them and then tape the bottoms to make them support heavier books. These look to have just been used for light books, or maybe they just used them as figurines as there are no tape marks on the bottom.
