This is a rare and gorgeous set of vintage figural bookends made in Germany. The little girls have a magenta dress/bonnet and are marked with the number 1222 and Germany. When I got these, they were filled with sand, which is how they made the bookends heavier back then. I took the sand out so they would mail better, but you can put some of your own sand in and tape the bottom back. They are 5' long and tall. Excellent shape, I see no chips or cracks.
